- Students who are pursuing a CMU degree program will typically work with an academic advisor in Integrated Services for Information & Solutions (IRIS) for their first year while they are completing essential learning and foundation classes. Contact IRIS to make an appointment with an advisor or to hear available walk-in hour times.
- PB Students (Provisional Baccalaureate): Students admitted into the PB Program will be assigned a Student Success Coach and will receive their advising from their coach. Contact the Office of Student Success to schedule an appointment with your Student Success Coach: 970-248-1340.
- GOALS (Greater Opportunity for Academic and Life Success) Students: Students admitted into the GOALS Program will be assigned a specific advisor who is not housed at IRIS. Contact 970-255-2635 to schedule an appointment with a GOALS advisor.
- WCCC (Western Colorado Community College): Students pursuing one of the Associate Degree or Certificate Programs offered through WCCC will receive their academic advising through the Student Services Office at the WCCC campus. Call 970-255-2600 or email [email protected] for more information.
- Students will also be assigned a faculty advisor in their academic department. Students can view their faculty advisor’s information on their degree works report via MAVzone. To find your faculty advisor’s contact information, visit the CMU directory here.

Phone Appointments are reserved only for students who are outside of Grand Junction or who are taking all online courses. If you fall into one of these categories, you can call the office to schedule a phone-in appointment: 970-248-1177.
